Lemonchik is proud to announce the immediate release of Guzzle 2.0, the new version of the elegant topic-based single page news aggregator. And it's available here:

http://guzzle.it

Guzzle constantly monitors hundreds of hand picked feeds and lets you create a page displaying regularly updated news about topics you are interested in.

You can watch a short screencast here:

http://guzzle.it/watch:screencast!

What's new in this release?

— Guzzle's backend (called Nibble) has been completely rewritten from scratch. Nibble is notified in real-time, by receiving PubSubHubbub notifications, when a monitored feed publishes a new article. Every story is automatically processed with Reuters Calais technology, adding rich semantic encoding information.

— A revamped UI.

— Feeling lazy? Read all the news, by predefined category.

— Go back in time! Guzzle keeps track of every articles published and lets you search its large, classified and spam-free archives.

— A fresh new « Extended Mode » view for a more magazine-like experience, with large images and visible source, author and description.

— Want to use your existing feed reader? Pretty much everything is now available as a normalized ATOM feed.

— For when you've got service in the club and are not ki-kinda busy : pop your iPhone, Guzzle will be available on the AppStore as soon as Apple approves it.

— Guzzle now reads and speaks French! Oui, c'est vrai.

You can find more technical information here:
